I'm Dawn, and while I'm not new to blogging, it has been a while since I have shared my thoughts, ideas, and general shenanigans 😁. 

I'm a Mom first and foremost, been one for 18 years now...yup...nest is emptying faster than I thought it would. My hubby and I just purchased our first home together and we are navigating this home improvement highway in a zig zag way most of the time.  

If there's one thing you can count on...I'll never say I'm an expert at anything I have done, so if you give any of my adventures a try...and can find a better, or my favorite phrase "less expensive" way to accomplish it...PLEASE...comment and let me know. I'm always on the lookout for money saving or time saving alternatives. I PROMISE, you won't hurt my feelings.

So...with that said, I will let you in on the details of our home. It's a 2016 Southern Energy Manufactured home, with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. The model came as is...no extras or changes allowed. And while I do love some of the aspects of it...after living in the home for almost a year now, there's LOTS I want to change or improve. 

THUS,...the reason for this blog! Ha! You didn't guess did ya?

Basically, you will have a front row seat to all the fun, triumphs, and tragedies as we muddle thru to achieve our dream home.
